Ouvi esta citação de Janis Joplin no documentário que saiu recentemente sobre a sua vida, "Little Girl Blue". Esta poderosa afirmação fez-me pensar no assunto durante bastante tempo, porque não percebi o que ela quis dizer. Depois de ver esta actuação de Janis fez-se alguma luz... a entrega dela à música e ao público é algo que impressiona, e emociona. O contraste entre o que se vê neste concerto, e o que acontecia depois deste acabar - ir para casa sozinha - era tremendo. As drogas, que acabaram por a levar tão cedo, eram um refúgio. São sempre um refúgio. Mas Janis foi única e será eterna.
